PIZZE E PROSECCO

Prosecco is an Italian white wine, usually a dry or extra-dry sparkling wine.

Today it is only made from the variety of Glera grapes, formerly known as Prosecco grapes. Glera grapes grow in many regions of Italy, but in order to produce Prosecco (which is DOC) they must come from the regions of Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Veneto, in Italy; Traditionally in the Friuli region for the Friulian Prosecco, and throughout the Veneto, but especially in the areas near Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, in the hills North of Treviso, for the Prosecco of the Veneto.

Prosecco is known to be the main ingredient of the Bellini cocktail and the famous Spritz.
